Main House
The Main House is a traditional shingled summer home with exposed wood interiors and classic island character. It is the largest sleeping house on McGee, with 9 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, original claw-foot-era tubs, and a partially enclosed outdoor shower that has become a guest favorite.

Cook House
The Cook House is where the group comes together. The updated kitchen includes modern appliances, an outdoor gas grill, and everything needed for big island meals. The breakfast table seats 6–8 with harbor views, while the adjoining dining room can seat up to 22 if everyone squeezes in.

Little Boat House
The Little Boat House sits directly on the water with a porch, living room, kitchen, and bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs, the full second floor serves as a bedroom with two queen beds — a favorite setup for guests who want their own space close to the Cook House.

The Cook House is equipped for large group meals, from everyday breakfasts to lobster dinners. Guests have access to a commercial gas range with 8 burners and two ovens, a 25 cu ft refrigerator, dishwasher, gas barbecue grill, cookware, dishes, coffee maker, blender, toaster, and a 60-quart pot with a 250,000 BTU gas burner for cooking lobsters.

Barter and McGee Islands form a natural deep-water harbor that can accommodate yachts up to 60–70 feet. For guests arriving without their own yacht, the caretaker can transport guests, luggage, and groceries from Port Clyde to McGee in the island boat.
